THE FOUR BY FOUR STRING QUARTET

We are a young and vibrant classical string quartet based in Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland.

Since forming, we have played for a number of weddings, dinners, corporate functions , and concerts in a variety of locations including churches, hotels, castles, museums, marquees and gardens.

Previous corporate clients include The National Trust for Scotland, Shell UK, Halliburton, Robert Gordon's University and Castrol Offshore in venues such as:

A string quartet is an ideal accompaniment to any event as background music helps to create a friendly atmosphere and makes your guests feel relaxed and welcome.

Sometimes string quartets can be perceived as being very "high brow" and elitist, but our extensive and varied repertoire ranges from popular classics to light hearted rags and jazz, and so is sure to suit all tastes of music.

For weddings we can play at ceremonies, during the signing of the register and / or during the reception meal. We have most music associated with weddings, but if there is a particular tune or piece you want, we can either source the music or arrange it ourselves. We can also provide advice and guidance on appropriate music to suit your occasion.
